I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and an ADHD Coach trained by the ADD Coach Academy (ADDCA) in New York.

My Journey With ADHD

A few years ago, I was diagnosed with ADHD—a condition I had unknowingly navigated for decades. Suddenly, my entire life made sense. The diagnosis shed light on the patterns of both struggles and successes that had shaped my journey. I realised ADHD had been not just a challenge but also a unique source of strength. From hyperfocus during critical moments to creative problem-solving, I discovered that ADHD had been quietly driving many of my actions and achievements all along.

Looking back, I now see how ADHD shaped key moments in my life, including my work as a human rights advocate. Originally from Iran, I have always been driven to stand against oppression and injustice. One defining moment was when I directly confronted the Iranian president, exposing him and his regime for human rights violations. Traits like hyperfocus, impulsivity, and out-of-the-box thinking—often linked to ADHD—fuelled my courage and boldness in these actions.

I help others turn ADHD into a powerful asset, using the strengths that come with it to build confidence, resilience, and a fulfilling life.
